Critical thinking with attention to detail. You must be able to synthesize large amounts of data (rules, statutes, regulations) to develop plans for your clients which comply with the law. Attention to detail is important because failure to comply with requirements will personally and financially impact your clients – sloppiness is not an option.
In hindsight, I probably should have been a surgeon, but the reality is if I ever left the legal profession (which is highly, highly doubtful), I’d go back to being an executive in corporate America.
Educating the community about the importance of estate planning, issues related to the elderly, and issues facing veterans.
Ideally, on a beach taking in some rays, dining out with family or friends, taking a day trip, gardening, or heading to Orlando to leave for a cruise! Usually, my Saturdays are spent grocery shopping or running errands.
Oh geez! I’m love both but am trying to wean myself off coffee. I’m down to a cup each morning. I drink iced tea or water during the day and hot tea at night if I’m craving something warm. I am definitely a night owl!!! If I’m not in the bed by 11:00 p.m., my second wind has kicked in at 11:02! Hate to admit it … but I’m usually one of the last to leave a party!!
