INTRODUCING Laura Silver Traiger, Esq.
I have been focused on elder law since the beginning of my career 30 years ago. Special Needs is a natural offshoot of this practice. The ability to be a guide to these families during difficult moments is so rewarding.
I am re-learning how to play the piano (after 40 years) – my recital is in June!
I was fortunate to have a supportive family. My grandparents and parents all instilled a work ethic and the belief that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to. Loyalty and truthfulness are of utmost importance and I try to embody this every day.
Raising three beautiful and independent daughters while also working. It was and still is a struggle to find that balance.
A perfect day would begin with playing tennis, attending my synagogue services, playing Mah Jong, and then watching TV on the couch with my husband (eating watermelon sour patch candy and popcorn)!
I made a promise to myself to start reading for pleasure again this year and so far I have already read 5 books. I really enjoyed Anxious People by Fredrik Backman–it was a fun and surprising. I also loved the Goddess of Warsaw by Lisa Barr – historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and this was a gripping read about life in the Warsaw Ghetto.
